sit

Just as a note, we're training our dog in English. It makes it interesting to watch our friends telling her to sit in French and she just sits there with a puzzled look on her mooche. In fact, Eshistou is getting really good at sitting before her meal is given. Now we only have to give the command once and she sits squarely on her 2 cheeks and won't get up to eat before we leave the area.

Juste pour information, on dresse notre chien en anglais. Ca fait pour des situations intéressantes quand nos amis lui disent "assis" et elle les regarde d'un air 'mais il est fou celui-là' Mais en rélité, elle sait très bien s'assoir avant de recevoir ses croquettes. Maintenant on n'a qu'à lui dire sit et elle s'assoit bien sur ses 2 fesses et elle ne se lève pas avant qu'on parte de la gamelle.

She still hasn't quite got the hang of sitting when there is a new person around. She gets distracted by asking for hugs and doesn't think of what you're saying but I say for 3 months she's not doing too badly!

Elle n'a pas compris le truc quand il y a quel qu'un de nouveau à la maison. Elle est distrate par la nouvelle personne et ne pense pas à l'ordre mais je dis que pour 3 mois, c'est pas mal.
